Arts Huntsville Tour of Homes shows that art can enhance anyone’s environment, even on a budget

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. -- Five Huntsville homeowners and art enthusiasts will open their homes to the public to inspire visitors from all over.

The Art Tour of Homes will be held Saturday, January 27th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the homes on the day of the event. Tickets can be purchased online or at the Arts Huntsville office in the Von Braun Center, 700 Monroe St., Suite 2. The Arts Huntsville office is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Tickets may be purchased using cash or check. Tickets are also available for purchase at the following Home Sponsor locations: Bath Fitters, Harrison Brother`s Hardware, Pic A Frame, and Walker`s Market.

The homes featured this year include the Blossomwood home of Claudia and Marty Pols; the Jones Valley home of Ted Lowry and Zara Edwards Lowry, the Old Town home of Anne and Mark Harbarger; the Blossomwood home of Ellie Sternberg; and the Twickenham home of Sheri and Mike Belmont.

Arts Huntsville's Art Tour of Homes showcases how art is part of living spaces, giving tour-goers a greater understanding of how anyone - on any budget - can use art to enhance their environment. This event serves as an opportunity to learn about the Huntsville area's growing and thriving arts community. Tour attendees will be provided with a guide to local galleries and visual art venues.
