HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - The shops at Redstone, within the Redstone Gateway, are getting ready to open their doors in just two months.

Four new restaurants and a conference and dining center are coming just outside Gate 9 of the Redstone Arsenal. "Fiero Mexican Grill, Dipwich Original, American Sandwiches, Rocket City Tavern, which is where history and people meet for great food and drink, and Redstone Gateway Conference and Dining Center."

In fact, those businesses will host a job fair Friday and Saturday, August 12-13. Managers will be hiring 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at Bridge Street. You can email gduncan@wjprestaurantgroup.com for more information.

Northern says these restaurants will provide a unique experience, like nothing before - and specifically tailored for the Huntsville community.

"We created these businesses from the ground up from a decor stand point, from menu, menu development, even tasting every dish two, three, 12 times," said Northern.

Although the finishing touches are being put on the buildings - a grand opening is set for October 17th.

"We're extremely excited about becoming a part of the Huntsville community," said Northern. "We consider this location very different, very unique. We believe that's a desirable thing as people will explore the unusual and it's up to us to make sure that we have done enough to make them want to come back."

As the new concept restaurants enter the Redstone Gateway, Northern says it's not just about serving the Arsenal - they want everyone to have a place to hang out and enjoy.

WJP Restaurant Group is also giving away a free year of food to a lucky winner! All you have to do is apply on Fiero Mexican Grill's website.
